Why not hire a small choir for your wedding?
These days, many people feel a little self- conscious when in church, and don't feel inclined to join in the singing of hymns etc.
A wedding is a joyful and
emotional occasion, and
the presence of a small
group of "professional"
singers can often
encourage the
congregation to join in.
As well as the usual
hymns, the choir has a
small repertoire of pieces
such as Mozart's "Ave
Verum Corpus", or John
Rutter's "For the Beauty
of the Earth" which can be
sung during the signing
of the register.
